All VERLINNE products are made from natural materials.
In the making of our products we use flax, wool, hemp, cotton, silk, tencel. They are natural and sustainable.
The pieces created from them, maintained correctly, can be worn for years.
The flax we use is soft, it has creased look and it is very resistant in time. The flax is one of the best materials for the human skin. The flax weaving is perfect for the hot season, but can be worn and adapted successfully to some outfit for the winter.
The flax fibres have used for thousands of years. In our days, fewer resources are used in the processing of the flax than for obtaining other types of fabrics.
Wool is a renewable and sustainable material. The pieces made of wool, maintained correctly, can be worn many years. Wool fibres have extraordinary characteristics. Wool naturally contains lanolin and keratin, both of which have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
The wool fibers absorb the vapours and therefore wool clothing is recommended in the winter, contributing to the maintenance of the ideal body heat. In the same time, clothes made from more thin yarn can also be worn in the warm seasons.
Every natural fabric feels extraordinary on the skin, but the fabrics that contain hemp give a particular sensation.
The hemp fabric is extremely durable; hemp fibre is a few times more resistant than cotton.
Silk is also one of the most resistant materials. The silk fabrics are light, let the skin breathe, are hypoallergenic and feel great on the skin.
All these fabrics have properties that make them much more suitable for leather than synthetic materials and wearing the pieces made from such materials is a true indulgence for the body.
