Materials we use
All VERLINNE products are made from natural materials.
We use linen, wool, hemp, cotton, silk, and TENCEL in our garments. These are natural and sustainable materials. Garments made from them, when properly cared for, can be worn for years.
The LINEN we use is soft, has a wrinkled appearance, and is very durable. Linen is one of the most skin-friendly materials. Linen fabric is perfect for the warm season but can also be successfully worn and adapted for colder weather outfits.
Linen fibers have been processed for thousands of years. Nowadays, fewer resources are used in the processing of linen than for obtaining other types of fabrics.
WOOL is a renewable and durable material. Garments made from wool, when properly cared for, can be worn for many years. Wool fibers have extraordinary characteristics. Wool naturally contains lanolin and keratin, both of which have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Wool fibers absorb moisture, which is why wool garments are recommended in winter, helping to maintain body warmth. At the same time, clothes made from thinner wool yarns can also be worn in the warm season.
HEMP Every natural fabric feels wonderful on the skin, but fabrics containing hemp give a special sensation.
Hemp fabric is extremely durable; hemp fiber is several times stronger than cotton.
SILK is also one of the most durable materials. Silk fabrics are lightweight, allow the skin to breathe, are hypoallergenic, and feel wonderful on the skin.
All these fabrics have properties that make them much more suitable for the skin than synthetic materials, and wearing garments made from such materials is a true treat for the body.
