Our cookie policy describes the types of cookies and other similar tracking technologies that we and our partners use when you visit or use www.verlinne.com

• What is cookie mode?

A "cookie" ("browser cookie", "HTTP cookie" or "internet cookie") is a small file, consisting of letters and numbers, which can be stored on the user's terminal (computer, mobile or another device from which the Internet is accessed). The cookie is installed through the request issued by a web server to a browser (i.e.: Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari) and is completely "passive" (it does not contain software programs, viruses or spyware and cannot access the information on the user’s hard disk). The duration of existence of a cookie is determined.

Cookies are considered standard for most current browsers and are widely used both to enable the provision of online services and increase their efficiency, and to provide information to the providers of these services about your experiences while browsing the site. When you use these online services again, your browser sends previously stored cookies back to the online service. In this way, the online service recognizes you and remembers important information about you that helps it personalize and facilitate the experience it offers to you, for example by remembering your saved preferences.

We and our partners also use other technologies, including data stored on your web browser or device, identifiers associated with your device, and other software applications for similar purposes. These include the following:

- The pixel labels: “Pixel labels” (also called web beacons or pixels) are little code files installed on (or requested by) a web page, an e-mail address, an application or an advertisement that collects certain information about your device and browser and how you interact with them. This information includes, for example, your device type, operating system, browser type and version, visited website, time of visit, website that redirected you, IP address, whether you opened an email or clicked on an advertisement and other similar information, including the small text file (cookie) that identifies the device. Through pixel tags, certain third-party companies can set and read cookies on a domain not operated by them and collect information about visitors to that domain, usually with the permission of the domain owner.

- Local storage: This generally refers to other places on a browser or device where information may be stored by websites, advertisements or third-party companies (i.e. local storage and HTML5 browser cache).

- Device identifiers: We may also collect your IP address, unique device identifier or create a unique device fingerprint (this is a unique combination of various information on the device so that we can identify it), in order to identify your device. We may then use this information in a similarly to cookies.

In this policy, we refer to all these and similar technologies as "cookies". These technologies may be used to recognize when your device performs operations. For example, they may recognize when you visit pages on our site or other sites, use parts of an application, or open emails we send you or links in technologies.

The www.verlinne.com site allows third-party cookies only from sites approved by the company.

• Who places cookies on my device?

As the operator of the Site, the company can store cookies on your device. These cookies are so-called "own cookies". It is also possible that one of our partners places certain cookies on your device when you use the Site (i.e. when you visit a page with embedded content, for example, from YouTube or Facebook, or social network widgets such as the Facebook "Like" button). • How can I manage cookies?

You can reconfigure the desired level of privacy in your browser to block all cookies; however, this could seriously affect your browsing experience as many web pages may not work properly.
